J-Lo Falls from #1 to #7; Alanis Tops Charts
What a fall for Jennifer Lopez. Her “J to Tha L-O!” which was number one on the top-selling albums chart last week will fall to number seven. The reasoning is simple: The Grammy Awards helped its winners climb the charts.
“O Brother, Where Art Thou?” which won “Album of the Year” honors sol 210,000 copies, earning second place. Alicia Keys sold over 100,000 copies to take fourth place.
Alanis Morisette’s “Under Rug Swept” debuts with 215,000 copies sold, earning her the number one position. Kylie Minogue’s release of “Fever” earns her third spot.
