When Jimi Hendrix was a child he lived in a small house located in Seattle. The house, which had 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms was purchased by Jimi’s father when he was 10 years old back in 1953.
During an auction, a buyer had won a bid to purchase the house for $33, 853, but due to the Sept. 11th, attacks, he backed out of the deal.
The house, which was about to be knocked down, was saved by Craig Dieffenbach, a developer and former business manager for Jimi’s brother Leon.
