Ben Harper, Perry Farrell, and Iggy Pop are still part of the Virgin family, the company said today. A report last month said that Virgin Records dropped the three artists, and Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger “just missed the ax.”

“The Virgin Records Family remains committed to the success of these artists,” Matt Serletic, Chairman and CEO of Virgin Records, said in a press release.

Perry Farrell and Ben Harper are currently in the process of recording new material for upcoming albums and Iggy Pop is writing for his next release on Virgin, the label confirmed.
