There is a petition circulating the internet urging Warner Bros. to keep the scenes with Aaliyah in the movie.

Currently, Warner Bros. is deciding whether or not to recast her role.

The sequel to the Matrix called “Matrix Reloaded”, stars Aaliyah as the character Zee.

Aaliyah was killed in a plane crash late last month.
