The manager of Destiny’s Child says the group is not breaking up, but will probably not record another album together until 2003. Manager Mathew Knowles says when his daughter, singer Beyonce, said the group was going to “take a little break,” it didn’t mean the group quit.

“Destiny’s Child has no intention of breaking up,” he said in a statement. “The ladies of Destiny’s Child did talk of taking a ‘break’ but never used the word ‘break-up’”

Anissa Gordon, a spokeswoman for the group’s management company, Music World Entertainment, tells the Associated Press that they won’t produce another album until 2003.

“They’re going to chill out with Destiny’s Child for the year 2002 and concentrate on solo efforts, and probably in 2003, they’ll come back as a group and record together,” she said.

Interestingly, Gordon said, “and probably in 2003″ they’ll record together, leaving it up in the open as to how definite another album really is.
