Creed Chooses Opening Act . . . Again
Creed has chosen Tantric to open up for them on the first leg of their North American tour. Originally, Puddle of Mudd was chosen to open, but they backed out the same day the announcement was made.
Tantric will go on second, after another opening act, yet to be confirmed. The group is composed of former Days Of The New members Todd Whitener (guitar), Jesse Vest (bass), and Matt Taul (drums), and vocalist Hugo Ferreira. Their album debuted at 71 on the Billboard charts in June.
Puddle of Mudd allegedly backed out because of a feud between Creed and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit, who founded Puddle of Mudd.
