Eric Clapton married someone less than half his age on January 1 in London, England. Clapton, 56, was married to American Melia McEnery, 25.

At the same ceremony, Rev. Christopher Elson, vicar of the church of St. Mary Magdalen, baptized the couple’s 6-month-old daughter, Julie Rose, and the guitarist’s 16-year-old daughter, Ruth Patricia, from a previous relationship.
