It was widely reported last week that Britney Spears walked into a London hotel, only to learn that she was being placed in a room near Pink, so the pop diva stormed out.

“I can be very loud so I can understand that,” Pink said at a press conference Monday. “If you’re not the party type then you wouldn’t want to stay next to me.”

Things between her and Spears are fine, she believes.

“She’s cool,” said Pink, who met up with the singer while they recorded an episode of Top of the Pops. “She came in and I gave her flowers and she thanked me. She was tiny and cute and cool. If she does hate me then she’s a good liar.”
