Britney, BSB Help Michael Jackson Raise Money
Michael Jackson hopes to raise $50 million for survivors and families of victims in Tuesday’s terror attack on the United States. In 1985, Jackson arranged for many musicians to sing “We Are The World” which raised $65 million to aid victims of starvation in Africa.
“I believe in my heart that the music community will come together as one and rally to the aid of thousands of innocent victims,” Jackson said in a statement. “There is a tremendous need for relief dollars right now and through this effort each one of us can play an immediate role in helping comfort so many people.”
Singers who will help Jackson perform “What More Can I Give” include Britney Spears, ‘N Sync’s Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, Destiny’s Child, and Mya.
