Ms Bootylicious, Beyonce Knowles of Destiny’s Child, has recorded a song for the third Austin Powers movie, a film in which co-stars with Mike Myers. “Hey Goldmember”, written Myers, samples the Sunshine Band’s “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty”. The hit song topped the disco charts in 1976.

“It’s not a serious song ? it’s really funny and crazy,” Beyonce recently told MTV at a Los Angeles recording studio. “It is actually [in the movie] the first time you see Foxy Cleopatra. I’m not a singer in the movie, but it makes me feel a little bit more comfortable that the first time people see me I’m up there [dancing], doing what they are used to seeing me do.”

Solange Knowles, her younger sister, added background vocals to the song, which will appear in “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”
