Backstreet Boy Carter Clears Name With Deal
Nick Carter, the most recent troubled Backstreet Boy, will get the post-New Year’s incident he was involved with cleared from his record if he follows up to a court order.
Carter, who had an altercation with Florida police January 2, will be required to perform 16 hours of community service, pay $290, be on a probation-like program for three months, and write a letter of apology to the police.
With this in tact, Carter will lose the charge of “resisting or opposing a law enforcement officer without violence,” MTV reports.
