Bee Gees Singer in Critical Condition
Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees is in critical condition after suffering a heart attack, the BBC reports.
Gibb, 53, underwent immediate surgery for an intestinal blockage after collapsing in his home, and suffered a heart attack on the operating table.
According to reports, his brother and fellow Bee Gee member, Barry, as well as Michael Jackson have visited the hospital where he is in intensive care.
“We are awaiting a full medical prognosis later today but everyone is very, very worried,” a spokesperson for Gibb said, according to the Associated Press.
Gibb is a singer, bassist, and keyboard player.
