MacSense Announces HomePod; Beam Music From Computer to Anywhere

MacSense yesterday announced HomePod, an audio device based on GLOO technology, developed by GLOOLABS, Inc.
HomePod allows users to use their current wireless network and beam music from any Mac or PC computer to any other device located in the house.
HomePod uses 802.11b wireless network technology and can play music from every single computer on the network. Software available for the unit will run on Mac, PC or Linux computers.
The HomePod will be available in March and will retail for $199USD.
