Guitarist and singer of punk band The Clash, Joe Strummer, was found dead in his England home Sunday, according to police. He was 50.

Officers believe he died of a heart attack. An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.

Strummer was considered a punk icon. Bono of U2 called The Clash “the greatest rock band.”

The Clash will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 10.
