Here’s a tip for everyone somehow connected to Jennifer Lopez: she does not find the slogan “J.HO” very funny.

After learning that Adrienne Bailon of 3LW wore a shirt that said “J.HO” when the group appeared on Soul Train recently, Lopez, who also goes by the name “J.LO,” reportedly demanded that her label, Epic, drop the singer from the roster. 3LW are also signed to Epic, a subdivision of Sony Music.

According to the Daily Star, Lopez said, “Get rid of her, or I am leaving the company.”

According to a spokesman for the group, Bailon wore the shirt to show her displeasure with labels.

“3LW and Adrienne Bailon are huge fans of Jennifer Lopez,” the spokesman told the New York Daily News. “Adrienne wore the shirt on ‘Soul Train’ for the J.Lo haters. She feels Jennifer Lopez, like many women, has been unfairly labeled, and she wore the shirt to prove that point.”

The group’s manager posted a statement from Baili on their message board.

“If my actions offended Jennifer Lopez, whom I idolize, then I sincerely apologize to her and to her fans. I consider myself to be a huge fan of her’s and I meant no harm. I guess wearing the shirt was not the best way for me express my views on ‘labeling.’ I’m sorry.”
