Reports that Nick Carter is dating Britney Spears are being denied by the Backstreet Boy. Carter says he barely knows her. But in an interview with the Associate Press, Carter suggests that the rumours could one day be fact.

“I think people like to start stuff or something,” he said. “They better be careful though, you know why? You keep saying it, it might be true.”

Does that really work? So if I start a rumour that says I’m dating Christina Aguilera, and I repeat it over and over again, it will come true? Thanks Nick for the great advice, punk.
