Wyclef Wants Fugees back Together
There is still hope for another Fugees album.
“The Fugees still didn’t break up. We are still trying to make stuff and work stuff out,” Wyclef Jean told reporters at the MTV Europe Awards.
The holdup? Lauryn Hill. After making one successful album (Miseducation of Lauryn Hill) and one unsuccessful one (Unplugged), Hill has remained quiet when asked about the Fugees.
“I want to do a Fugees record,” said Jean. “You have to talk to Lauryn Hill. You have to talk to the girl. The girl is the problem — not me!”
Along with Pras, Jean and Hill, the Fugees’ “The Score” sold over 17 million copies.
