Aguilera?s personal journal is heard musically with this album. ?Dirrty? does not do justice to her voice. While her image has changed for the worse (arguably), her voice has only got stronger. She fights back against the industry with a catchy ?Can?t Hold Us Down,? but the guest vocals of Lil? Kim do nothing to enhance the song, except bring in a different audience. She shows her range by singing the soulful ?Walk Away? in a very low key, discussing a relationship gone bad. She sings about her relationships in a handful of other songs too, yet her self esteem remains high with ?Loving Me 4 Me.? ?Infatuation? offers a pleasant change in style, as she performs the Spanish-English flamenco song fiercely. The Alicia Keys written and composed song, ?Impossible,? is missing one thing- Alicia Keys; but Aguilera makes up for her absence by undoubtedly singing the song just as Keys had asked her to do. ?Beautiful? is one of those songs you can?t get enough to and find yourself listening to over and over again until it gets stuck in your head and you suddenly get sick of.
