Toronto Concert to Assist Food Bank
The Daily Bread Food Bank is struggling to collect the amount of food that is needed, and an upcoming concert in Toronto will try to help them out.
Jonathan Davids, The Whythouse, and Big Biz, are performing at an event called ?The Third Element? at Reilly?s (Third Floor) on November 24. Canned food donations are being collected and will get patrons $1 off the $7 cover charge.
?I was at another concert recently and the Daily Bread Food Bank was there collecting canned goods,? says Davids, who is also organizing the concert. ?I thought that would be a great idea for this event too since the food bank is always in need of donations.?
This will be the first concert Davids is putting on.
?I love to perform and this is a great forum for me to do so,? he says. ?The other acts were eager to perform as well. I’ve seen them perform or I?ve heard their material and I enjoy the music. I’m hoping others will enjoy them as well.?
