Angie Martinez Named American Idol Judge

Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson have a new addition to the second “American Idol.” Singer and radio host Angie Martinez has been announced as the fourth judge this season.
Martinez has been a host for 8 years on Hot 97 in New York. She released her second hip-hop album, “Animal House,” in August, featuring the hit single, “If I Could Go.”
Auditions are currently being held across the U.S.
