‘N Sync’s Chasez Records Solo Material
‘N Sync member JC Chasez could give Justin Timberlake a run for his money. Chasez will lend a song to the soundtrack for “Drumline,”
Dallas Austin is producing the film and the soundtrack. He’s been working with Chasez, and they’ve recorded four songs so far. At least one will be on the soundtrack.
“We’ve been doing some great, great material,” Austin told MTV. “At first he wasn’t going to do a record, but I think now he’s kind of interested, so we’ll probably just keep recording. We were just writing songs for the movie and we caught a niche and it was like, ‘Oh sh–, this is cool for you, let’s keep going.’”
“Drumline” stars Nick Cannon, Zoe Saldana, and Orlando Jones. The soundtrack, due out December 10, will feature Alicia Keys, Monica, and Petey Pablo.
