Robbie Williams Signs With EMI
Robbie Williams has inked a deal with EMI. Besides music, EMI will help Williams with activities like touring, publishing, and merchandising.
The deal is reportedly worth $125 million U.S., but other reports claim it is $50 million.
“It feels good, I’m delighted to be with EMI,” he said in a press release. “We look forward to making and breaking new records together.”
His fifth album, “Escapology,” will be released on November 19. Williams and Guy Chambers wrote most of the album.
The first single, “Feel,” was shot in Calgary, Alberta, which features actress Darryl Hannah.
