He performed with them on the album. He was part of their live shows. His presence was felt strongly in their videos. But he was never really a member…until now. Moka Only is finally an official member of Swollen Members, Vancouver’s hip-hop duo.. trio.. actually, quartet.

In addition to Only, producer/DJ Rob the Viking also joins the group.

“These two are now an official part of Swollen Members,” Mad Child said. “We’re basically like family – it was a natural progression.”

They will release their second album, “Monsters in the Closet,” on September 24, featuring new singles, unreleased tracks, and remixes. Nelly Furtado, the best damn singer in the world, and rapper Saukrates will lend their vocals to the album, and Evidence (Dilated Peoples), Saukrates, Kemo, Rob the Viking, and others will offer their production skills.

Their first single, “Steppin Thru,” is already on the radio, and the video will air in the first week of September.
