Lance Bass’ trip to space was in trouble earlier because both Hollywood and the Russian bureaucrats couldn’t find the $20 million needed to fund the trip.

“We have a contract, but we don’t have any money,” Russian Aerospace Agency spokesman Konstantin Kreidenko told reporters.

In October, Bass hopes to make the trip up to space and travel on the Russian Soyuz rocket to the international space station, however, the deadline for the payment to confirm his spot was reportedly yesterday (Tuesday).

According to David Krieff, the producer who will be following Bass’ trip and creating a television series on it, said “This is 100 percent going forward.”

We’ll have to wait and see.
