It won’t be long until you hear new material from Mya. The R&B singer will be releasing an album in November or December, with a single being released in September.

Being a part of “Lady Marmalade” has it quirks, as the people involved on that track will be well represented on her new album. Missy Elliott may appear on a track called “Whatever Bitch,” MTV reports. The song’s producer Rockwilder supplied some tracks, and Pink wrote a song called, “Take a Picture.”

“[It's about] just what it says,” Mya tells MTV. “‘Take a picture so I can remember this moment forever.’ It’s almost like a graduation or wedding song. You can sing it anywhere. It’s a really nice song.”

Mya will appear in the movie “Chicago,” due out on Christmas day.
