A lawsuit by the mother’s of the members of boyband Dream Street was thrown out of court after a Manhattan judge believed it was nothing more than a sham.
They were charging the creators of Dream Street, including Lou Pearlman, with scamming their sons out of money. As well, they accused producers Brian Lukow and Louie Baldonieri of encouraging their sons to partake in sex, drugs and alcohol, the New York Post reports.
Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Diane Lebedeff ruled that they were merely trying to get out of their contract, and the accusations in the lawsuit “show all the signs of a creative attempt to avoid contractual obligation.”
