Before the Rolling Stones? 1994 Voodoo Lounge tour, the Stones chose Toronto?s Crescent School to rehearse for their tour. A staff member at the school told a young Andpop.com reporter at the time about the Stones being there, and how the entire staff was sworn to secrecy about it, not being allowed to tell anyone anything, as radio and TV frantically reported on the Stones being somewhere in Toronto.

With their upcoming North American tour, the Stones are back at the Crescent School on Bayview Ave. to rehearse some more for the upcoming tour. This time the group themselves broke the story, with Mick Jagger telling news crews that they were ?sounding pretty good for one and a half days,? while Ron Wood, their guitarist, added ?It’s sounding wicked. It’s sounding great.?

Despite a 1977 drug bust of Keith Richards in Toronto, as is the norm for out-of-towners speaking of Toronto, Wood added ?It’s good. The people are always nice and the atmosphere’s great…We’ve got the right kind of conditions.?

Keep your eyes and ears peeled because rumours are rampant that the group is planning a surprise nightclub gig before their tour kicks off in Boston on September 3rd. Wood said of these rumours ?You never know for sure.?

Keep posted to Andpop.com because as soon as we find out any details, you will too.
