Lance Bass is inches away, figuratively, from his dream of launching into outer space. The Russian Space Agency has nominated the singer for an October flight.
“It’s official, he’s their candidate,” NASA spokesperson Dwayne Brown told MTV. “We did indeed receive a letter nominating Lance Bass for the October flight.”
The agency has asked the International Space Station Multilateral Coordination Board for permission to launch Bass, according to a letter sent to the nation-partners in the International Space Station, reports MTV.
Also on their list are cosmonauts Sergei Zalyotin of Russia and Frank De Winne of Belgium.
