Jackson?s Past, Producer Both Reasons Song Never Released
In a startling twist in the recent Jackson-Sony battle, word has come out as to the reason why Michael Jackson?s 9/11 tribute, entitled ?What More Can I Give,? was never released. Turns out, Jackson?s song was produced by a man named Marc Schaffel. Schaeffel earned his fame in the entertainment industry as a producer of gay adult films. The song was a collaberation with upwards of 3 dozen different performers on the track, including ?NSync, Carlos Santana, Ricky Martin and Mariah Carey.
Though Michael Jackson was a pop phenom in the 70?s and 80?s, with the album Thriller still being one of the highest grossing albums of all time, his reputation in the 90?s became notorious after allegations of having slept with young boys came out. He settled out of court for $20 million, but his reputation has suffered ever since. With a genetic skin disease that turned his skin white (Nicole Kidman has a similar condition, and hence cannot tan), and numerous nose jobs, Jackson has become the source of much media ridicule.
For Michael Jackson, this battle, with his past issues, and this new twist can permanently hurt his career. Though he was celebrated recently in a nationally broadcasted event, these recent events could lead to the beginning of the end of Jackson?s popularity. His recent acts of biting the hand that feeds him could be career suicide, and hiring a producer of gay porn could be the final nail in the coffin.
In Jackson?s defence, it is speculated that Jackson was unaware that Schaeffel, whose production company is known as Neverland Valley Entertainment, was the producer of dozens of adult films. Though it leaves one to wonder what Jackson thought was the type of productions a company called Neverland would make. And why didn?t Jacko investigate this company?s past if he was leaving a song he wrote for charity in their hands? Did he just choose them because they had a really cool name?
In related news, McDonalds rejected a multi-million dollar deal to sell Jackson?s singles in stores. Whereas in the past McDonalds has sold albums from ?NSync and Britney Spears, Jackson?s single is believed to have been rejected because of his history of child molestation. McDonalds did not have anything to say about the reports that the single was produced by a gay porn producer, but it won?t help Jackson?s cause anyways.
