Nelly Dethrones Eminem

It took five weeks, but somebody finally overtook the number one position on the album charts from Eminem. Nelly, Em’s rapping Universal labelmate, sold 717,000 copies of his new album in the U.S., “Nellyville,” his second release.
“The Eminem Show” sold enough to earn the second spot, selling 308,000 in the U.S. N.O.R.E.’s “God’s Favorite,” Avril Lavigne’s “Let Go,” and Truth Hurt’s “Truthfully Speaking,” round out the top 5.
Will Smith sold 60,000 copies of “Born to Reign,” debuting at 13.
