What will Weezer think of next? The rock group finished shooting their music video for “Keep Fishin’” in Los Angeles today and Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the rest of The Muppet crew make a very special cameo appearance.

“Being a guest on The Muppet Show was a childhood dream we all shared, so we were ecstatic when the Muppets agreed to be in our video for ‘Keep Fishin,’ the group members said in a join statement. “This is definitely one of the coolest we’ve done yet. The Muppets can really rock!”

The video, featuring some Muppets wearing Weezer shirts, is currently being edited.

“I know I speak for all the Muppets when I say it was great working with such a talented band,” said Kermit. The jealous frog then added, “I just hope Pat has recovered from Miss Piggy’s extra attention–both the kissy kissys and the karate chops, sheesh.”

Weezer is currently on tour, which will see them hit Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre on July 14 with Dashboard Confessional. A second stage has been added that will feature AM Radio, Home Town Hero, and Louder Milk.
