Kelly Fires Back at Critics in New Song
Even though R. Kelly is battling criminal charges in court, he has released a new song, which is being played on a Chicago radio station. “Heaven, I Need a Hug”, knocks his critics, and asks fans to keep supporting him.
“I’ve given 13 years of my life to this industry. Hit song or not, I’ve given all of me,” he sings. “You smile in my face and tell me you love me. But then before you know the truth you’re so quick to judge me.”
The station will continue to play his music until the court hears his case. This latest song was delivered to the station by Kelly’s label, Jive.
