R. Kelly was indicted Wednesday on child pornography charges, a source in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office told the Associated Press.

A grand jury charged Kelly with 21 counts of child pornography. A videotape was found earlier this year that depicted what seemed to be Kelly having sex with an underage girl.

Kelly could spend up to 15 years in jail, and face a fine of up to $100,000.

A warrant has been issued for the singer’s arrest, says the source.

“If people say there?s a tape of me and a minor [having sex], they?re lying,” Kelly told BET on May 8.
