Pulsford Officially Leaves Bush
Guitarist Nigel Pulsford, one of the founding members of Bush, has left the group to spend more time with his family.
“Nigel chose not to join us on tour this year so that he could spend more time with his family,” said Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale. “It transpires that he has been torn between the band and his family for some time. It is a difficult situation for all, yet this has been brewing for ages. Ultimately, we hope it will turn out that everyone has got what they wanted.”
The group has been touring with Chris Traynor, formerly of hardcore band Helmet.
“Chris joining us has obviously changed the whole dynamic of the band,” said Rossdale. “The shows have been great and we’re all really enthusiastic about the future of Bush.”
There was speculation in the last few months that Pulsford was leaving the group when he failed to appear at the band’s recent concerts. Rossdale had previously denied that Pulsford was leaving.
