Lance Won’t Give Up on Space Exploration Hopes

Bass, a member of ‘N Sync, and Garver, a former NASA official, are both competing for a seat on a Russian spacecraft. They are undergoing tests in Moscow to evaluate their health conditions.
Bass and Garver will enter a pressurized chamber and undergo a centrifuge test to determine how their bodies would respond to the spacecraft’s liftoff, the AP reports.
Russia is holding one spot on a spacecraft, set for launch in October, that will also send Russian flight commander Sergei Zaletin and European Space Agency astronaut Frank DeWinne to space.
