Alien Ant Farm Survive Bus Crash
The tour bus of Alien Ant Farm crashed into a truck Wednesday in Spain, killing their driver and injuring all four members.
Singer Dryden Mitchell sustained back injuries, guitarist Terry Corso broke his ankle, bassist Tye Zamora injured his foot and drummer Mike Cosgrove suffered cuts and bruises, the group’s label said.
“We send our condolences and prayers to the family of the driver and our prayers are with David in hopes that he has a full recovery,” Alien Ant Farm manager John Boyle said in a statement. “We’re obviously very fortunate and thankful the band and crew survived the accident.”
David Zajic, the head of the band’s security from the Czech Republic, “suffered undisclosed injuries deemed critical by the label spokesperson,” MTV reports.
The group was asleep when the accident happened. They were on their way to Lisbon, Portugal, coming from Luxembourg.
