“It’s not fair,” sings Glenn Lewis in his latest single. R&B singers Lewis and Tweet postponed their co-headlining tour, with no apparent reason in sight.

“It was temporarily postponed because of some issues that need to be addressed in Tweet’s camp,” said Lewis, talking to media outside a Toronto courthouse where he was acquitted Tuesday morning of charges that he beat up a bouncer. “Hopefully we’ll be up and running in a little bit.” He noted that this trial was not a factor in the tour decision.

“This event has been cancelled,” a Ticketmaster representative told andPOP.

The tour kicked off on May 12 in Kansas City, and was supposed to come to a close on June 18 after visiting 28 cities. The two will still play a show in New York this Sunday.

Tweet will be appearing at “Wham Bam” in Toronto on July 1. Glenn Lewis, citing a schedule conflict, pulled out of that show earlier this month.

There is no word on when the tour will be rescheduled.
