The release of Eminem’s third album has been moved up a week. Bootleg copies of “The Eminem Show,” now being released on May 28, have been available online and on the streets illegally for several days.

“Due to rampant illegal bootlegging and Internet piracy, the release date of ?The Eminem Show? has been pushed up to May 28,? a post says on Eminem?s official site.

The album was kept under high security. Even journalists were not given their own copy for review, but they had to listen to the album at the offices of Interscope, the record label, with a label representative present.

The first two million copies will include a free DVD featuring a performance, an interview, and behind-the-scenes clips.
