Ja Rule to Retire from Music
Ja Rule is tearing up the urban music scene, but he has already begun thinking of leaving to pursue a career in acting.
“I’m going to retire after two more albums,” he said last week, according to MTV. He also said one of his biggest inspirations is basketball player Michael Jordan, who retired at the top of his sport before returning last season.
Ja recently filmed “Half Past Dead” with Steven Seagal and Morris Chestnut, and has appeared in “Fast and the Furious.”
He will release his fourth album, “The Last Temptation,” later this year, and will collaborate with CMC (formerly Cash Money Click) on “CMC EST Since ‘93,” due out in November.
